Puppies Health: Wilderness K9 states that this puppy is in good
health at the time of pick-up. At the expense of the Buyer, this puppy
should be examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours of possession
to VALIDATE the health guarantee. There will be NO REFUNDS
OF ANY KIND unless the puppy is found to have a life-threatening
illness diagnosed by a vet within 72 hours from the date of

at the BUYER’S expense to receive a full refund or a replacement
puppy if one is available. All paperwork, including AKC and
Microchip must be returned as well. After 72 hours there will be NO
REFUND OF ANY FUNDS and only a replacement puppy can be
given from the current litter if available or buyer will have to wait
until a future breeding of breeder’s choice. Buyer is responsible for
transport costs of the replacement puppy. (Exclusion: This does not
include the presence of parasites and does not apply to a health
problem resulting from injury or accident due to buyer’s negligence)
Viral or bacterial infections such as Coccidia and Giardia are easily
treated and very common in puppies. These are not covered in the
health guarantee as puppies are naturally at risk for them.
Environmental factors such as allergies, thyroid dysfunction,
demodectic mange, or any other autoimmune disorders are not
covered by this guarantee.
Wilderness K9 warrants the puppy for 2
years from the date of birth against Life Threatening Genetic and
Congenital defects. Should a genetically caused death or life-
threatening diagnosis be confirmed by two non-associated
veterinarians within the 2 years of birth, all supporting
documentation must be provided upon request and is subject to
review by the seller’s veterinarian. The seller does not warrant
cryptorchidism or guarantee reproductive capability or show quality.
Wilderness K9 guarantees the dog to be free of crippling hip

by a licensed veterinarian
who is skilled at producing x-rays for OFA evaluation. If the dog is

confirmed by OFA that is not the result of injury or malnutrition, a
replacement will be given of Wilderness K9’s Choice. We must be notified immediately. OFA

The parties each acknowledge that there are inherent risks involved
in buying a puppy, even one with proper health tested parents. Seller
represents and warrants that reasonable precautions have been taken
by the breeder to hopefully prevent the puppy from acquiring
hereditary defects. Never the less due to known and unknown
hereditary and genetic tendencies or weaknesses in purebred dogs,
which are beyond the seller’s control, seller makes no guarantee that
the puppy will be free of all genetic tendencies/weaknesses
throughout its entire lifetime. In the event however that the puppy is
within the applicable warranty period set forth in this contract,
diagnosed by a board-certified veterinarian as being affected by the
stated covered conditions, the puppy will be replaced under the
terms stated in this contract.
Breeder is not responsible for any vet bills made after the pup leaves
the care of Wilderness K9 and shall not be responsible for injury
caused by carelessness or negligence on the part of the buyer. Once
the puppy leaves our care, we have very little control over how the
puppy is handled, where the puppy is taken or what the puppy is
exposed to. Wilderness K9 is not liable for any accident or injury
caused by the animal. Breeder makes no guarantees regarding the
loss of puppy due to accidental death, theft, sickness due to lack of
vaccinations, etc. or any other loss beyond the control of the breeder,
except as stated above. It also does not cover illnesses due to the
ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals, stress related issues,
behavioral issues, physical injuries and/or illnesses which may have
occurred and/or contracted during transport to the buyer or during
the buyer’s possession. Once an animal leaves our property, we have
zero control on how the animal is treated and/or trained.
Breeder retains the right to reclaim the dog if we find it is being
mistreated or neglected.
Any mistreatment or neglect voids all
guarantees. Any warranties or guarantees offered to the original
buyer are non transferable. The breeder wishes to make sure that the
dog is well cared for and placed in a proper environment for its
whole lifespan. ALL puppies are micro-chipped with Katie Stout’s
name as the alternate contact with her contact information, the new
buyer’s information will be first. This is to ensure the puppy always
has a safe home if the puppy gets lost or stolen the seller and buyer
will work together to get the puppy back to the buyer.
Microchip Number must be confirmed and matching with records from
Wilderness K9, to confirm this dog originally came from
Wilderness K9 to validate this guarantee on all claims.
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES is the dog to be
placed in an Animal Shelter or any other similar
establishment unless agreed to by Wilderness K9.
The BUYER agrees to maintain this puppy/dog in good health,
provide routine preventative health care, including but not limited to,
inoculations, internal and external parasites, and preventative
medications. BUYER agrees to provide fresh water and proper
quality food in the correct amounts.
Rehoming: If for ANY REASON you are unable to care for your
puppy or adult dog or wish to rehome the dog – PLEASE contact us
immediately. We will assist you in relocating your puppy in a new
home and if needed make space available at our home in order to re-
home him/her. Although we will not reimburse you for the purchase
price of the puppy (unless a price is agreed upon) – we guarantee to
assist you in placing him/her into a new home. We also ask if you
decide to re-home this puppy or adult dog on your own that we will
be provided with the new owners contact information so that we are
able to stay in contact with them. If the buyer is unable to care for
this puppy for any reason, Wilderness K9 retains the right of
recovery of the puppy at the buyer’s expense. Once the dog is
surrendered to Katie Stout with Wilderness K9, all rights to that
dog are relinquished by the buyer.

reviewed and agree to the terms listed above. The buyer agrees to
maintain up to date vaccines, and to keep the puppy/dog in humane
conditions, providing proper food, water and shelter.
