The Cane Corso is not a breed for everyone.
This breed is extremely loyal to their family, protective of their home, and make a wonderful companion with proper training and understanding of their breed characteristics. This is not a breed that loves everyone. They are intensely loyal to those who they consider their family and are indifferent to strangers. They need daily stimulation, which can be a walk, training session, game of ball, tug, all kinds of sports. They will not work as a family dog if locked in a cage or kennel all day.
Our dogs are our companions and guardians first and foremost. They are not for public display that anyone can come and play with them. We do not force interactions with strangers.
Cane Corso puppies are relatively easy to train. They are eager to please, intelligent, and calm natured. Once they have learned something they retain it quite well. Your little puppy will soon grow up to a large powerful dog with a highly assertive personality. If he has grown up respecting you and your rules, then all his physical and mental strength will work for you. But if he has grown up without rules and guidance from family, he will make his own rules.
Cane Corso were bred to share in the work of the family. They thrive on companionship and strive to be wherever you are.
